1. Download / Install

Right click on the "Download Now" link above and click "Save Target As...":

Save the file to a location on your computer and run it by double clicking its icon. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.

Close all of your Internet Explorer windows and open a new one. If you don't already see the toolbar you may need to enable it via the "View" menu:

After a moment the toolbar should appear!

 

2. Making a new Sticky

Browse to a URL which you would like to shorten:

Type a name for your new Sticky into the text box on the StickyThis toolbar:

Click once on the "st" button beside the text box (or press Enter after the name):

Your browser will then be temporarily redirected to stickythis.com to confirm the Sticky's creation. After five seconds the webpage will return you to where you came from.

You've now created a Sticky!

 

3. Using Stickies

Simply type the name of your Sticky in the address bar like you would any other address:

Then click "Go" or press Enter. It's that easy! This is the equivalent of typing "stickythis.com/myhouse" without the toolbar installed.

This feature will make your web browsing experience so much simpler!
